I'm sorry, do we have to cater to everyone's schedules now ? If people werent available during prime time, tough luck, try for the next one, and if they didnt open during prime time, same thing, go for the next one, it's not rocket science, if over the years someone was unable to get a house, yes it is lack of effort and/or being purely lazy.

And FYI, most plots opened during that prime time window.
