There's a difference between content people can't access due to their personal situations, and content people can't access because it's (badly) designed to be inaccessible to everyone, period, regardless of their personal situation.

I've been saying for ages that there should, at the very least, be zero game features locked behind housing other than housing itself if it's gonna stay limited like it is forever. And at this point I sincerely doubt SE is actually going to put in the resources to actually create a housing system that everyone can access. So at the very least cross breed gardening and workshops should not be exclusive to housing.

So yeah. Trying and failing to do a raid because you lack the skill, capability, or internet connection isn't the same as trying and failing to get a house because there aren't enough of them and rng said no.

Wholly and completely disagree. I like having a house because I like having a house. I do not care about literally any of my neighbors, of which I can count on one hand the number of whom I have actually seen in the last three years, and I would not care if everyone and their mother had access to housing in this game.

I don't expect SE to overhaul the system. If they planned to they'd have done it ages ago instead of slapping a bunch of ugly paint and weird bandaids on it. But I'm very much not on board with the "keep it limited so it's ***special***" thing

I disagree. As a house owner, I would still love my house if everyone had one. I want other players to be happy too and have access to housing if they are interested in it.

For you, my enjoyment of something is not based on the fact others can or can't have it. A house can theoretically be a challenge too, but still be available to everyone through a variety of means- so not only would I say 'for you', but also I think this method (limited wards) is also still a poor implementation of personal achievement.

It's like thinking sRPGs don't exist, can't feel good about doing something because everyone can do it.... That logic just doesn't track unless you are really hung up on such a.... Selfish idea.
