Despite how wrong you have been, despite lack of supporting evidence, even being shown you either missed, ignored or just skipped some content, you have dug your heels into the ground on your personal opinion.
I can get behind unwavering conviction, but the issue is you act like that means you are right and everyone should believe you and take your side. Then sit there and act like everyone who doesnt belive in your personal view is wrong, sitting here saying that because YOU (and your mutuals) think so-so should happen in the game, means the game is bad because things didnt happen the way YOU deam it should happen.

Yeah, this entire argument doesn't come across as someone who is trying to establish common ground or provide evidence of their claim, but instead, establish enough room for "plausible deniability" that they can pretty much claim anything because "it can happen, therefore it did happen in every case I say it did".

There was a concerning event where Rich's sponsors were contacted over his views on the story's factions, Pyromancer regularly expressed his dissatisfaction with people trying to lead him into a certain reaction for upcoming story events, and the same occurs with Asmongold who has grown increasingly weary of dealing with that sort of behavior.

Xepla has said something about not liking how some parts of EW were handled and she was forced to walk it back due to backlash. [I was there during that stream]. I was also there during the stream where Rich was threatened and shut down by his audience because he said he was TeamRejoin. It happens, and it's BS. Shut the F up and let streamers feel how they want to feel and express it with no backlash. In other words, stfu.

Except that Rich laughed and walked that incident off, and kept playing through to form his own opinion. Hell, he later argued that chat was right, but stood by his initial opinion. Besides that, Rich insulted his chat first, calling them "tempered f--ks" when they defended Venat during her first appearance in END. You can't complain about needing to please the "lunatics" that pay your bills when you have that sort of "toxic friends" relationship with them.

However....here's the problem: I agreed with Rich's initial opinion and don't agree with his second one after Elpis. I am in that minority of people who thought that Endwalker's story was bad (or, at least, the overall theme of it was -- I still hold that some parts of it were very good). I actually had one of my friends give me a disgusted look when I told him I didn't like it, and explained why. So yeah, I can confirm that those people, and situations, definitely exist.

But none of that proves Aveyond's premise for this thread: that it would benefit the story to replace the Scions with Ardbert's team or whatever. Because you can both dislike Endwalker's plot and either like or be indifferent to the Scions, which is the entire basis of this thread. The existence of people who get defensive when someone doesn't agree with them on the plot does not thus prove the existence of a huge fanbase that would prefer the story if the Scions were gone, or most of Aveyond's other claims.

So it’s funny to me that people are using streamers reactions to things, but not including the fact:

1. Pretty much all of the mentioned streamers liked the story in EW and don’t share a hatred for Venat
2. The reactions of people like Xepla to the big ole thread that you and several others came from was not in line with those now quoting them
3. Several have in the past argued the streamers are unimportant when they express points that they disagree with until they find a way to fit it into their narrative

And finally

4. Are doing all of this when it’s irrelevant to the actual topic of the thread.

Whatever your feelings are about EW or the current topic, these are objectively bad arguments.
