People shouldn't have to manage their time and expectations around Square's incompetence. The idea of DC travel and new world implementation at the same time is already a bad one. The communication has also been abhorrently poor, which shows no actual respect for the time of the people they are inconveniencing. So no, I don't think the onus should be on the playerbase to restrain themselves to ensure that the service functions, and I find that expectation to be insulting.
