What do you mean? Moving to any new EU world is free of charge.

Yeah, mogstation is terrible on mobile. It works best on a browser. I managed to do it from my iPad in bed though.

There's a reason why Japan have free transfers, some world have switched from an old data center to the new ones, so people can go back to their previous data center.

NA have no reason to get free transfers as they have no new worlds.

EU have free transfers to new world because they are new.

I've moved 5 characters now, all from a legacy world to one of the four new ones, it cost me nothing.

I think difference might be JP Has not only new world transfers for free atm but I imagine that's cause some people were moved to whole new datacenter with their server after addition of new one, so in case they will decide to move back to old DC.

But definitely in EU datacenter if you choose to transfer to new server it's free of charge as well.

I made an alt on the day servers opened and formed an FC. That character is ready to unlock all five wards when they enable them and I'll transfer the Gil to bid with that character as well.

Smart move not sure if I'd have done that ahead given the norm has been to have a longer waiting period before sales are a reality.

Finally managed to move off the NA Datacentre to the EU one, which I felt made sense since I live in the UK and was pretty much always seeing 'Connection - Poor' when logged in.

Hopefully it'll improve the latency issues I'd been experiencing!
