The house I recently just got was fully decorated the very same day I got it. I was so happy that I grabbed a bunch of my closest FC mates and made them tenants and immediately went to sharing my place with them. For me, a house is a place to gather with friends and have a good time. That is what we've already begun to do. I strongly suspect that for a great many other players, the social aspect of housing is a thing for them too.

SE has never made such a claim to my knowledge. Use of wards was a design choice, not necessity.

It's some of the players who like the prestige of having something others can't get that persist in saying instanced housing is impossible.

I dont normally like Moogles... Specially that little &*(% when you land in Moghome that ask if you like his axe...then says you cant have it and flys away (one day ill get my hands on him).. I always land by him.. but this 100^^^^

I will never understand how you can fully decorate a house in a day. My creative process just doesn't work like that. Even a cottage takes me north of a week.

Its all about how many times you have deco a house/appartment/fc room.. for someone who has never deco a house/appartment/fc room yes it could take a wile///For someone who has had a house before or shared a house before and deco'd it goes alot quicker... Like every thing the more you do it the easyer it is...

You learn to look for empty spots that need that extra touch and so many other things the more you deco

I use to own 7 houses 3smalls 4 medium and large fc all deco differnt..this was back before the one per server (And before im attacked Coeurl was on aether at the time the night they added 1 per server rule all 3 wards had 100+ empty houses even 8.5mil mediums I counted lol) but i quit the game and released all mt houses and Gave my large FC to one of my members mist ward 5 love that house lol..

It just depends on if haveaidea what ya gonna do or not i just did a basment for afriend took me about 2 1/2 hours...but iused parts of old floor plans i had made before

It's easier for me in that I get claustrophobic fairly easily so I tend to gravitate to more open-style types of décor. Means I have less work in that there are few or no partitions to monkey around with.

I can understand the frustration. We have been asking politely at least since HW and nothing has been done to actually address the problem.
Also the OP might be blunt but they weren't rude or calling anyone names.

We have a situation where player requests for instanced houses have been ignored. No reason has been given why we can't have them, not even an acknowledgement of the numerous requests for them.
Couple this with the fact that every character is now being given a large, personal, instanced island. A lot of people have alts, in theory every player can have 8 characters per world. Each character can get an island.
I can only conclude they had the necessary resources to make instanced houses but chose instead to put them towards a feature that is both self-contained and time consuming (not great for player interaction in an MMO as WoW Garrisons proved), and this feature is something that nobody actually requested.

Under the circumstances, I think the majority of posters have been remarkably polite.
