Why not re-enable housing demolitions for NA/JP/Koala-land, and place a hold on housing demolitions in Europe? If housing demolitions are paused due to regional events, then only the region it is directly impacted should have the pause.

Except a player can roll their characters on any datacenter they want, iirc. Again, target Square's small indie cash grabbing (please understand), not the players who did not ask to be put in this situation.

I actually hope they never turn it on again. After all, they only began the demolition thing as a bandaid when they realized the demand for housing was far outstripping the supply.

I'm more hopeful they fix the supply issue by introducing other kinds of housing options, namely instanced. Then there's no more need to demolish a player's house. Everyone has access to it.

There were fewer plots, fewer servers and the duration of the suspension was much shorter than the current one. Saying it wouldn't change a thing is plain wrong lmao.

MMOs are social games. These people deserve to have something to return to that brings them joy after everything they've been through.

Priority should be in pressing SE to fix the housing system so supply is no longer an issue and demolition isn't even necessary and relegated to history.
