Why do Mi’qote ears go through Snow’s hat but not Hrothgar ears?

Honestly you have 4 options open to you: fantasia since you can't deal with the limitations they devs told you about, live with the limitations and practice some patience, shrug and live with it, or lastly just unsub. One explanation so far has been that it’s too hard for the high-income company, and yet that’s combined with a refusal to consider hiring any modders who have demonstrated experience with customization-related development. Have they exhausted all their options, or are they too prideful to reach out? Look to Sega and Sonic Mania as an example of a company actually reaching out to experienced coders who worked on fan projects and how successful that ended up being for both the corporation and customers.

Another reply has been a guilt-provoking response that reveals an unfair assumption made without prior surveying of the community that people with already limited customization options (compared to most other races) would now also be okay with physical mutilation and being told that going with a non-mutilation approach would somehow take longer than several years; the wording of the response bothers me, and I also doubt that this issue had sufficient time and resources invested over several years.

Threads will continue so long as paying customers are unsatisfied with a lack of (or sometimes disingenuous) communications.

I finally saw an instance of this in the game now and it still looks really weird, plus the inconsistency still makes no logical sense since both races have long ears; letting the ears clip shouldn’t be considered a problem only for Hrothgar.

because it's easier to give a solution like this to a mistake made 3 years ago, than to try to fix this mistake and make basic things work, like hats and hair.

You don't understand, the guy spent 2 months clipping the ears off of the model! Please help me understand the attempted lore justification for this particular example, game designers; your “the ears are hiding” explanation doesn’t work for this hair option due to an illogical inconsistency between two different feline races that both have ears.

Are all Hrothgar making a conscious decision to uncomfortably tuck their ears under the hat, whereas no Miqo’te decide to do that? Why would the two races be different here?

There's no lore excuse, nor was there a request for patience. Hrothgar and Viera were made per your request and that was it. No amount of money or whining is gonna fix it.
