Please reconsider how Ranked rewards work

Not really. Contrary to what the forums might have you believe with all the "It's totally my team mates holding me back I should be so much higher!" posts, if you climbed once you can do it again.

I personally think ranking would make more sense if we could build a team of 5 instead of queue solo with random people and gamble on whether you have a good team or not or if you're against a good team or not. About half the time, I don't feel like I'm really earning it or knowing if I got unlucky or not. If I got to build a team for difficult PvE content, why isn't it like that for PvP? Does square think we don't care about playing with our friends or that we'd cheat?

Try to consider the queue times too. Some lower tiers already have very long queuetimes, some even pop only during primetime. This is what it makes hard to catch up as others can already build up an huge advance. It's not even about skills it's about time.

Id rather not or many wouldnt play it. I like that its like League of Legends and you can solo queue. I think solo and duo is the max they should allow. Part of the fun is you can drop in pretty much when ever you want and play some ranked. You dont need to schedule and organize a team. You dont have a toxic environment where people deny you a team because you dont play a meta class etc. Many dont have time for that type of stuff due to work and chores. If that happens id go play league instead. If you are skilled you will naturally carry up to higher ranks. Its the way it is in League of Legends and thats a much more popular game than any MMO PVP.

You'd have people complaining about pre-mades and how they cant climb. if at least 3 people on the team are random then duos and singles have a chance.

But if you had both. . . you can go to one that does solo queues if you prefer it and another for a rank for teams.
You're thinking of it being one thing where you can either queue solo or with someone that can cause different results.

That splits an already small population for pvp. Youd have a frontline queue, a rival wings queue, a casual CC queue, a ranked 5 person team cc queue and a solo/ duo ranked cc queue. Would get pretty thin on population imo. If this game had pvp numbers like Fortnite or something it wouldnt be such a bug deal but I wonder about it with how small the pvp pop is in this game.

and I think the population would increase if people could feel like they could play with their friends. Once I can no longer sync queue with my friend, I'm no longer touching CC. Why I'm making posts about it to try and fight it. I like this game, I like to PvP but I do not enjoy the PvP and would like to try and get my thoughts across to fix it. The PvP community is small because people are not enjoying it. They do the 'chore' to get an achievement and stop playing it. No one will touch it if no one enjoys it.
