Not just NA, its also in the EU that way, since any game that demands you reading guides basicly gives you the hints toward them. The game tells you to look for them. In this game its not being told, so by default the expectation is that its not needed.

And it isnt needed! You can complete these things without guides! The mentor roulette system is even designed in such way! It promotes people from joining duties without prior knowledge. And since later duties dont change at this at all, what hints a player on changing their behaviour?

I mean the thing is, every once in a while I do run into a mechanic or two that is borderline obscure. I wouldn't say the game is absolutely filled with them but there's a handful of them out there. Usually at those points I regret not watching a guide.

Besides that though, guides just let you perform outright better because you know exactly what to expect. I wouldn't go as far as to say you have to watch one, but don't judge others for watching them.

Honestly, I still haven't cleared Aglaia yet. Even if I watched a guide it would probably go badly. You know there are people who think "it's easy", "it's been out a while, you should know it", "waste of healer mana" and so on and I dislike wasting others time so I never went back.

I actually find Savage less stress because it's one boss at a time and wiping, dying a lot on prog and figuring it out is expected. I'd do P4S over Aglaia any day.

This is normal content... besides I don't want to listen to some clown with a microphone on youtube, I go in blind everytime something new, because if I have time to watch a guide it means I am not there when the content is new.

What is wrong with not knowing the mechanics and learning as going, this is casual content as it is, so the post is irrelevant.

Let's start with having people know how to play their class before joining a raid, then we can talk about mechanics.

Unfortunately, it seems that many players in NA and EU do not care about other people’s time. The common sentiment is that:

This is you putting your own enjoyment over 7 other people’s enjoyment. It is what an individualistic and selfish culture promotes. Unfortunately, this will never change because it’s engrained in Western culture.
Play on the Japanese Servers but I wouldnt recommend pushing your politics though over there. Also, people like you make people like me who go on a Crusade looking for Parsers/Hardcore Players and check to see if you are using Add-Ons to report or get you to admit what you use in chat. People like you love talking.

Correct, many westerners assume JP does not like story when thats not true.

Pretty sure a single party can solo all of the Alliance Raids ( except for the party split mechanics, but they don't require a full party on each ).
It's not Savage where one person can wipe the whole group.

Oh hey it's yet another alt account of our favorite baiter. 1 combat job at cap? Check. All DoL/H maxed? Check. In an FC of one? Check.

So did you get your monthly RMT earnings and paid up for another round of XIV and that's why you're posting so feverishly?
