From the patch notes:

Season One will end and Season Two will begin.
When the season ends, the top 100 ranking players from each data center will receive vouchers via the moogle delivery service.

Players finishing in bronze tier or higher can claim rewards by speaking with the Seasonal Quartermaster at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:5.7).

Upon the commencement of Season Two, you will be placed five risers below your final placement in Season One, with zero Rising Stars

That's what the usual assumption would be, and what I thought as well - but after I read through the old patch notes when they first introduced the series 1 malmstones, it seems those will only get replaced on patch 6.2.



Maybe they'll have changed their mind though? We'll see soon enough!

I feel it's going to be quite similar to how the Moogle Treasure Trove stuff works, where you can use the tokens up to X date, then it's lost. But in this case, it's just claiming the tier that you unlocked(unless the items you buy with those crystal shards is completely changing...in that case, could be that?).

But we will definitely see come tomorrow.

I think the rewards for your ranking in season 1 is what you are getting and season 2 is starting so rankings reset. The series rewards like the stones and the glamours will go on till 6.2 when the next series starts.

No news related to the Series Levels and Malmstones. So, gotta wait until the maintenance ends... Or the extremely unlikely scenario that the Eorzea Database updates before servers go live to find new PvP rewards there...

Series last for two PvP seasons, so Series 1 Malmstones will be obtainable during both Season 1 and Season 2. Patch 6.2 will start Series 2, with the Series 1 rewards being moved to the Trophy Crystal vendor, and then removed at the start of Series 3. This is all info from one of the recent live letters.
