PVP season and rewards

Series last for two PvP seasons, so Series 1 Malmstones will be obtainable during both Season 1 and Season 2. Patch 6.2 will start Series 2, with the Series 1 rewards being moved to the Trophy Crystal vendor, and then removed at the start of Series 3. This is all info from one of the recent live letters.

Yeah, there needs to be some new rewards in general. I will never do ranked ever either now, since I don't want to have season 2 and later frames, without season 1. The season 1 frames are always the best because they say "1". It's an incomplete collection without them. Part of the reason I didn't do any ranked was because I didn't know if I wanted to dedicate enough time to get a high ranking, because if I got the limited frames, I wanted to get the best limited frames. I'd rather have none than have bronze.

Whelp, I was under the assumption that you would get the Adventurer Plate backgrounds for all the ranking tiers you climbed through at the end of the season... But you literally only get the plate accents for the rank you finished at. I wanted the Bronze background for a glamour so I guess I need to intentionally stop at that point this season...

I really wish they just hadn't made any distinction between the frames based on which season they were obtained in and that you got the frames for the tiers below the one you finished in.

Bummer, I was hoping for new malmstone rewards. I guess this lets me continue farming Frontlines for the GARO mounts without worrying that the losses will greatly impact progress toward a new glamour set.

They're fixing the season rewards from now on to include all Framer's Kits from every tier you climb through and giving every tier from season 1 you climbed through @ 6.2. Not sure how they went a whole season without realizing this being a problem, but good for them.
