I seriously dont understand what could possibly be impeding them so badly like why every patch since 5.1 have they made basically no effort with new headgear?
Ok...hrothgar have unique heads, vieras ears are too close together...that feels like punishing the players for playing the races rather than adapting to having new races.
I really just wish theyd plug in the hat mod even if other players couldnt see it like at least I could.

if you think about it, hrothgar doesn't even have that different head shape, as they say. It is even easier to adapt helmets for hrothgar than for Vieras (since the ears would clip with many hats). The only helmets that would be difficult to adapt would be the ones that cover the face, as they have snouts, but that's not the end of the world either.

My stance remains unchanged so, I want hrothgar unique hairstyles- New hairstyles for hrothgar (and viera)
the ones you named look like trash on everyone imo, so I can only imagine they'd look just as bad on hrothgar as well

Pretty much the only way hrothgar get quality hairs is from new and unique. Well, I should say the chance at quality. Viera.. hit or miss with the shared hairstyles, but largely miss I'd say, they should probably get unique as well. I agree.

I literally started the thread with "dont ask for new race hairs cuz they didnt do that all shb".
And I said I want them to retain ears.
I really dont feel like any new racial hairs will exist until they plop out female hrothgar but those may be genderlocked.
And I dont feel like we should advocate new race-locked hairs cuz no other race is.
The only issue with old racial hairs is a lot of longer styles will stab into hrothgar spines bc of the stupid hunch which they should just get rid off frankly in 7.0 the hunch detracts from the race more than it adds and it makes 0 sense anyway as 92% of job actions straighten their posture anyway.

But I'll type is simply:
They can add new hairs AND existing hairs- people want new hairs as well- they're not a small indie company. hairs just aren't on their priority list

I don't think that's necessarily true. Adding new hairs most likely requires more work than just porting a shared hairstyle. Even Yoshida himself said the custom hairs would take quite a bit longer in that quote addressing hrothgar hair concerns.

It's unfortunate that they won't just do both. If it's one or the other, custom hairstyles are definitely the way to go though.

Yes. Which is why I want people to advocate existing hairs being properly done for hrothgar. Because I don't want another whole damn expac of everyone else getting fun new thingies while hrothgar get a big pile of nothing.
I want updates every patch like everyone else not "when we get to it" cuz that took from 5.0 to 6.1 and thats crap.
They can add new racial hairs with the 7.0 graphical update/female hrothgar release but dont leave one race in the dirt while everyone else gets stuff patch after patch.
