Eye can definitely break the flow. I just have it macro'd for the first DPS in light or full party. That and card draw for AST seem like two of the most likely candidates for a revamp.Dragoon hasn't been perfect for me since ARR...
Right now the core rotation is 11 buttons which for me doesn't flow well with controller/cross-hotbar. I try to maintain the rotations to be 1-2-3-swap or 1-2-3-4-swap, but for DRG it's 1-2-3-4-swap-1-2-3-4-1-swap-repeat.
And then there is the eye mechanic which ends up distracting the combat.

Dancer partner seems like a prime candidate to model a potential dragonsight rework after.
Yeah this is what I've said too.
Having to target swap just feels weird, imo I also think that three buffs is too much.
Imo three buffs is just too much too, I actually do think that's a case of button bloat and I generally just fundamentally disagree with people complaining about bloat.
I think either Dragon Sight could be 60 sec and Lance Charge + Battle Litany could be merged or have Dragon Sight also do the AoE crit buff.
On top of it all you can also add Life Surge so that's basically four DPS cd's, Life of the Dragon is technically speaking a DPS cd too it's just activated with Geirskogul.
I don't think Life of the Dragon is rly comparable to Lance Charge for example but they're still tied to each other and it's when you've already got three other actual DPS cd's and then you start thinking about everything else.
You're popping so many cd's all the time.
I am all for DRG being all about ogcd's, but weaving too many DPS cd's just isn't fun imo.
I also hope they're delving deeper into the Jump niche and make Jumps feel more powerful.
Heck Jumps could even have the DPS cd built into it, Dragonfire Dive for example could activate Battle Litany ( it could have the crit chance or whatever damage buff built into it already ).
The Jumps are the big niche and appeal of DRG I think they should push that as the main event.
