Oh okay then. I just kind of figured that it would still be nice to shorten their to-do list where they could.
I mean that's true, but even people on reddit are a bit fearful of the dragoon changes and reddit usually has the opposite reaction to the game compared to the forums. Of course, neither reddit nor the forums, nor both combined are the whole game but still.
I don't see why people can't be worried though. I mean if you don't want to see someone talking about their worries or concerns about the game, then why would you be on any platform that discusses said game to begin with right?

Reddit is close to 90% AMERICAN and last i checked, the US isnt the only nation on the face of the planet. The FF 14 playerbase is diverse, coming from dozens of nations..and to be bluntly honest, Reddit as an 'accurate source" is utterly absurd, as they lean hard left running a system with a festering hivemind that downvotes and dogpiles on anyone who dares disagree with them.I mean that's true, but even people on reddit
Reddit also has a cute little item...its called a timeout. Doesnt matter HOW valid your point is, you are literally downvoted to hell and then SILENCED for at least ten minutes so you CANT reply and are literally drowned out whist you are ridiculed.
Reddit is NOT tolerant, or willing to listen to anything that doesnt conform to their hivemind...using Reddit as an example of ANY kind of reasoned debate or consensus? Is utterly, and absolutely laughable.
I dont CARE what Reddit thinks...because after years of reading their tripe, it is clear that many of them......dont think at all.

I never really said it was the whole playerbase either :/Reddit is close to 90% AMERICAN and last i checked, the US isnt the only nation on the face of the planet. Honestly, it just looks to me as if you're looking for reasons to throw other people's opinions out the window. Instead of saying you don't care what the forums or what reddit thinks, maybe you should just say that you don't care what anyone thinks.

There have been people voicing their concerns on every server across the world. SAM and NIN changes were universally panned as terrible on all servers, despite not affecting DPS on those jobs all that much, so why would DRG fare any better? Just because Americans are the most vocal in their concerns, doesn't necessarily mean they're alone in them.Reddit is close to 90% AMERICAN and last i checked, the US isnt the only nation on the face of the planet. If you're going to go that route, let me take a look over at the JP forums, and run some of their comments through DeepL for translation...Reddit is close to 90% AMERICAN and last i checked, the US isnt the only nation on the face of the planet. "Thank you so much for foregoing a major overhaul!
I really hope that you will make careful adjustments to this job, since it has been around since the beginning and many people love it."
"As someone who is mostly satisfied with the current Dragon Knight, I am honestly glad that the management has decided to take the time to make adjustments to make it a better job."
Definitely seems like it's not just the westerners who think dragoon is fine as is...
yeah, like i play on all of the NA DCs and have some EU friends, and I've seen this both from DRGs i've met in game and on forums/reddit/twitter/discord. I guess I don't have the perspective of JP/KR/CN players..? But I don't think I'm being overdramatic or blowing things out of proportion.Oh okay then. I just kind of figured that it would still be nice to shorten their to-do list where they could.

Sorry drg mains, they will dumb down your playstyle. However I hope they make it somewhat fun for you guys. I'll join the pray team they won't butcher the job too much.
Summoner was legit broken. I suspect other jobs had their own issues.Machinists warned everyone. Then the healers spoke up. Crafting was hard nerfed. Tanks said things were getting homogenous. Summoners and monks started to realize things were wrong. Samurai was lucky it wasn't butchered too much. Dragoon is next. Ninja might be in trouble, if this keeps up.
If there were any good points made that could have been taken into consideration, they likely got lost in the static that seems to take over these conversations.
