It is this exact dismissive attitude that many players are starting to take umbrage with.

Healer criticism? Go play Ultimate (despite the Ultimates being able to be solo healed)

Glamour Criticism? Instead of fixing a broken system, we just simply made it bigger.
Take what we give you and like it.

I get it. You're stuck with the resources you have and the engine you're working with, but flippantly dismissing player criticisms over a system they find subpar is simply a bad look.

I don't think it was meant to be disrespectful to player desires, if it was then that's sad- but I don't think that was the intention.

Though I do hope he realizes many expect multi-thousand / majority of items in the game slots given they've had real world experience with multi-thousand slot glamour systems (like WoW or GW2's).

It's rly sad that they apparently have to walk on egg shells constantly because someone will take a harmless comment and get mad about it.

When there's 3000+ gear items limiting the Glamour Dresser to 400 / 800 is a bit silly. I know why they do it, it's to reduce server load because the game for some reason has to account for that glamour dresser everywhere you go but if that's the case limit the functionality to only apply Glamours at Inn rooms. Don't let it be world wide.

I would have plenty of slots left over if they simply updated the armoire to hold more of the AF stuff. No, buying them again from npcs will not suffice, nor will doing obsolete hunt trains. Just let us store AF stuff in the armoire. Because repurchases do not list the dyeable unlocks. Or you know... I implement a superior glamour system. It's almost bewildering how DCUO even has a superior glamour system to XIV.

But yeah.. if that's all that's being done for the foreseeable future then yeah.. that'll get filled up eventually. But 800 is a neat start.

It's just a joke, but it is a weird one if they're aware the glamour system is kinda bad in it's current state. Nothing to get upset over or anything, but just an odd thing to joke about.

As much of an issue I have with the work being done in FF, I do believe they are working on good faith. That is, given the situation, this is what they believe is best.

I can't wait for the reasoning behind job changes, though, since we can have more directed criticism, and it helps people decide clearly what they like and dislike about the direction of things.

They're doubling the capacity it's pretty neat. It is enough doubt it will ever be given the amount of content in this game. Personally i'd love to see a shared glamour bank for my main and alts but that's a dream that will most likely never happen in this game.

Seems like they know the system isn't great and that this is essentially just sticking a plaster on it. I think it looks pretty good that they can acknowledge and joke about their own shortcomings.
