Now you're just pulling numbers out of nowhere. If they were able to create an entire new race during ShB's patches without extending the dev time and while still giving 11 hairstyles options to everyone else, surely they can add the remaining 6 racial hairstyles to Hrothgar without delaying the next ultimate?

They were able to make mviera with new hair and new emotes and new voices midway thru shb but hrothgar getting anything not half-assed would require the 1 party per DC that does ultimate to go without please understand uguuuu
Like even at 2ish percent hrothgar is at least 500k players. As of January 2022 prior to 6.1 only 5000 players WORLDWIDE were triple legends so hrothgar getting hats and decent hair should take precedent.
If we REALLY wanna play the numbers/popularity game they should just stop bothering making new things work on felfs and roegadyn because hrothgar outnumber both of them but saying such a thing would be outlandishly stupid.
Imagine defending a billion dollar developer delivering players a crap product because "some hrothgar angry" like ok wow.
Also Viera-M only got in the game because players didnt like genderlocked races so that tells me hrothgar need to be even louder, if we wanna be real.

Patches have been extended since Endwalker? Endwalker was also delayed to the end of the year, as compared to ShB's release? Granted, covid is a big reason for this, but I'd think the larger workload has also contributed to this. For that matter, supposedly, male viera was made in some passionate developers' free time, if I recall. Time and time again Yoshida has stressed how costly adding and supporting a race is. He warned us back in ShB that viera and hrothgar, in the state they were in upon release, would just allow them to keep their patch schedule. For that matter, we are already seeing the result of their bigger workload: less overall for everyone. I am not making this stuff up, there are multiple quotes to be found, but I suppose I'll just be told people don't believe Yoshida in the first place.

There was no stipulation for roe or elezen not to get headgear - there was for hrothgar. Not only that, they do not have custom head shapes, making the process harder. I think the mistake SE made was compromising on their original vision. They should have never even bothered with hairs for hrothgar. Frankly, I think they should have just done only viera in the first place, if they were going to add one or the other. Female hrothgar will only end up being a drain on resources, in my opinion.

Each of the delays have been throughly explained. QA for the Yorha raids, story fixes and DSR QA which would have delayed Asphodelos. They did show how much more expansive in assets Endwalker was than any other expansion before, but you're mad if you're attributing the workload mainly on the new races when there's million of other factors they were very explicit about. (Like the fact there's twice the number of jobs they have to support compared to 2.0?).

Nobody is saying that it won't require them a colossal amount of work to fix the terrible decisions they made back in ShB. But your wild fanfiction that even the tiniest bit of effort towards us will break the game feels very dishonest to me.

I won't be looking back at this. Im just here because I'm sick of seeing you go into threads and bring the vibe down from Hope to Despair faster than Endsinger does to a party of all first timers.

Emphasis on the word LONE. This is all done by one person. And they did almost all headgear for hrothgar in a single night. And have been working on doing the same for other hairstyles.

If one lone developer is capable of doing this by modifying models from SE's own game with blender. Then why is it so hard for SE to assign the job to one of their capable members of staff to work on the models, and then leave it to the developer team on integrating those models into the game.

We ain't asking for an immediate change, we're asking for some bloody effort. I've said it many a time. Im happy to wait, as long as I know it's coming.

Did you see the context in regards to the last back and forth? It started with me attempting to suggest for players to be more respectful in how they go about giving their feedback to SE. Aside from that, I don't see how me reiterating statements made by Yoshida, in regards to their custom heads, and the limitations of their design, is a bad thing. I am trying to be realistic, and to clarify the situation. Prior to that even, I was suggesting people take their requests one step at a time; to be more realistic about how they go about it. I don't see why any CM would even want to bother reading some of the "feedback" that is given, in the way it is often made to them anymore.
