Because the Miqote player model was designed from the beginning with things like that in mind, and the Hrothgar/Viera ones werent, and now Squeenix is pulling the budget from this game and its too much of an effort for them to care about it.

Unfortunately, it's not just for viera, I digress.

I mean, hrothgar players didn't seem to take it well when Yoshida said their ears were 'tucked' under their hair or whatever. Can you imagine how my poor miqo'te would feel when her ears are tucked under a bandana AND a hat?! I doubt she'd even be able to hear much!

How exactly am I trolling? Are we not allowed to have some lighthearted banter? Alright, being serious. I already said why it doesn't work on viera, and most likely the reason hrothgar cannot use it, aside from custom heads, is also due to the lack of.. hat hair! There's the probable answer!

If they sold a variant on the store without the hat, then sure there's your discount. I'd suggest people start giving more of that feedback on separating the pieces. I don't know if they'd ever actually do it, but it's worth a shot (across platforms).

It is a bit disappointing that the headgear can't be worn by Hrothgar or Viera... Hell... We've known it's been in the game for a few months now... And you know it's a problem when a mod maker made a mod for it to be wearable for hrothgar and Viera before it was released.
