If it was addressed, why this reaction from the fans, hmm? Why the outrage, all the memes?

What's worse is that the devs being this complacent does end up causing stupid comments and crap from the rest of the community. They can't control online interactions, but one word from them would go a long way to shut down quite a lot of the crap we have to face from players. The power of a statement is quite strong.

And unfortunately, they weren't transparent. Nowhere near as you think.
