What is being asked is that the feedback be constructive and realistic instead of filled with dramatic exaggeration and distortions. The latter does nothing to encourage SE to actually listen to and address player concerns. They're a business, not parents trying to placate an upset child.

Should SE have taken action years ago when the problems with the system became apparent beyond just adding more wards and apartments? I believe they should have. They didn't. We can't change what happened in the past.

You can talk about excuses but the reality is that change can't happen on a whim in the business world when companies are partially reliant on other businesses that have their own needs, obligations and limitations. SE can't walk into an electronics store, buy a server, slap down on a desk, plug it in and immediately fix everything. It takes planning and coordination. It takes time.

What we need to do is focus on convincing SE it is worth the effort to begin that planning and coordination now instead of wasting our time blaming other players for the problems with the system and dreaming up new bandaids that play games with RNG and shuffle around where the problems are instead of solving them.

We need a better supply system. Whether it is improving the instanced housing system so it provides larger apartments or even houses such as other games have used very successfully, moving to an automatic ward expansion system like LotRO uses for its Neighborhoods, or some other system that none of us have thought of but solves the supply problem, SE needs to get to work on changing things for the better for all players instead of just the lucky few.
I would be in favor of larger apartments. As long as I can get the space I need for multiple decent sized rooms, I don't care if it is houses or apartments.
