    That's pretty much a non-starter in an argument now
    Practically anything could be thematic to some aspect of FFXIV now since there are so many sci-fi elements woven into the lore

    Like people always seem forget that the dragons in this "fantasy" game are actually ancient aliens

    Yeah well they are using the exact enemy types, music, and the location of Ivalice already. I don't see a reason other than perhaps license issues to not have it in the works.
