The last few times I’ve ran it we haven’t wiped once, it’s not a common happening in my world.

I've had my fair share of consecutive QTE phase wipes without knowing exactly who failed that so I'm never going to like the trial for that reason alone. Yes, even after telling them to press -any- buttons outside chat mode. There are STILL few instances where people still failing it for whatever reason. Three wipes on that phase and that's it: I'm eating the penalty.

I promise you that if you could tell who failed, it'd happen a lot less. There'd be no trolls and the lazier players wouldn't slack off.

At least you can usually tell who's doing it on Nald'Thal.

I use controller and 0 issues. You can just press X and O at ease, you can even adjust your controller and find your comfortable spot to press buttons.

And I can't tell who failed compared to Shinryu or Hades and everytime in SoS when someone fails remains silent despite the warning/tips

Press buttons in the rythm of the clock in the background.

Tell people they dont have to masch their hearts out and that masching makes it harder.

If it keeps happening, somebody does it on purpose.
The one that fails should be the only one failing to break free (instead of everybody) so you can tell if its the same person refusing to press any buttons.

„I cant mash hard“ is not an excuse because normal (not fast at all) typing speed is enough to pass it.
If you can press skills in time for your rotation, you can pass the qte.

As long as you dont hit enter, you can literally handroll over keyboard too lol

It feels like a very difficult check with how low it gets even while mashing a button, but I don't know if it really is because I've never personally failed it. The only one that I remember feeling as difficult is Shinryu ex which is very easy to fail if you miss a single press.

And Shinryu didn't wipe the entire party if one person failed/was trolling. The full party wipe mechanic needs to be removed

Someone failing the QTE for 4-5 times in a row after tanks don't get the timing right once was my expirience way more often than actual misstiming of LB. Complete wipe on QTE was a mistake to begin with.
