Okay I don't know why this is happening as often as it does, but over half the seat of sacrifice runs I've gotten into on roulette always end up getting stuck on the button mashing part because someone can't get past that one portion of the fight where everyone gets chained.

I don't think this is a hard mini-game to do, but maybe people on controller have serious trouble with the button smashing part? I've had to leave two of them after several attempts, and I mean several, trying to get past it and just having the same result each time.

Controller actually makes it easier.

If you fail, remind everyone you can use more than one button. This seems to be a common misconception that you have to spam ONE button. Keyboard= push all the keys. Controller = push all the buttons.

This needs to stop being the go-to response. Mashing on controller couldn't possibly be easier when you have 12 easily accessible buttons, dpad+symbol buttons+shoulder buttons. Most QTE should be done in a second or less.

You just have people that can't do the bare minimum.

The "button mash" part only requires you to press any button about 3 times per second. When the meter is really low a single press restores about 1/3 of the meter.

It's not a real button mash; it's just a panic check. It's purposely meant to look difficult while not actually being difficult. People mash their buttons faster than 3x per second when trying to queue a combat action that's about to come off cooldown.

It feels like a very difficult check with how low it gets even while mashing a button, but I don't know if it really is because I've never personally failed it. The only one that I remember feeling as difficult is Shinryu ex which is very easy to fail if you miss a single press.

And Shinryu didn't wipe the entire party if one person failed/was trolling. The full party wipe mechanic needs to be removed

Yeah which is why I'm dumbfounded as to how someone is failing the same check more than three times (Last week it was 12 times in trial roulette in the same run. We never finished that run). This has been happening in a streak going through that fight and I'm about to stick my tin-foil hat on and begin thinking someone is trying to get past this on a bot or is trolling people.
