You can, just most likely choose not to for a reason ranging from "it's too hard" to "I don't want to put in the effort to find a static or make my own PF groups."
At that point, don't really have a right to complain that you don't get certain things.
Fort the challenge I guess. I prog it slowly, and I can take long breaks between floors, but I'm always back at it because, let's be honest, there's not much to do at max level besides this and the incoming relic weapons.
They do savage to unlock the current new ultimate we got and older ultimates, savage mount farming, totems for weapons , books for dyed version glams etc
I heard it has something to do with loot, but that's what I've heard.
Journey to all fish: 1383/1729 (348 remaining) [79%]
Sometimes I wonder if I am the only one who actually enjoys the fights, I don't really get upset about not killing the boss on the first attempt only time I'll get kinda annoyed is when people join clear group for the first kill and are stuck on the first mechanic.
But even after my weekly clear I still do the fights again for fun and to help.
So long as I am doing it with people who don't lose their shit and cause drama I enjoy it.
People kinda often talk about it tho like they don't even enjoy it and only do it for the loot.
Which begs the question of why they need the loot if they don't care about Savage.
I wasn't being literal, I do see quite a lot of people who don't seem to enjoy it and treat it like a weekly chore.
I also get that impression sometimes the moment things aren't going perfectly in weekly reclear groups, sometimes all it takes is one wipe for people to act like their day is ruined.
It's the same when you're starting out a new fight and you're progressing, a lot of people just have very low amounts of patience and seem not to be enjoying the process at all.
Obviously I can understand if you get liars in your group who clearly have no clue what they're doing but join groups late into the fight or even clear groups, it really sucks how prevalent that is especially.
But even in groups practicing from the beginning or where people clearly aren't lying people seem to often just treat it like a hurdle they get no enjoyment out of.
Granted I am not too fond of EX1 and EX3 because of how you can just follow the group for almost all of the mechanics, and EX2 isn't exactly difficult either.
But I did EX2 quite a lot on repeat not for loot or the mount but just because I enjoyed it.
And I do the same with Savage too if I see there's people looking for help for clear or practice and don't mind chests I'll often join because I enjoy the fights.
I don't think that's very common tho.
I don't think everyone hates the fight or anything like that, but I definitely do think a lot of people approach them as a weekly chore and nothing more which to me is kinda sad.
I was doing it for mounts and the challenge but now I'm just going to wait for undersized. I can't follow the mechanics even with guides and practice so I may as well sit out and let someone competent take the member slot.
Bold of you to assume I haven't tried those things.
Grossly misinformed, but bold.
Mount, glamour, chllenge, fun, etc etc.
For me the people I progress with rally make it or break it.
I would love to get more done with Ultimates, but that content seems to steel and steer people in worst possible way into tryhard direction. Which burns out people faster. Which nurtures dissatisfaction. And before you know it the group breaks up.
I own my shitty behavior, but this keeps happening without me saying anything overly rude.
