Characters that you think are underrated (possible spoilers)

Elidibus. He got done dirty in EW. Man's the savior of the world, but Hydaelyn gets all the credit.

Agreed - he was one of my faves, if not the fave, since ARR, and while I had hopes that they had some sort of good direction for him from 5.3 onwards... 6.0 left me rather bitterly disappointed as to his fate and how little credit he gets for essentially ensuring the star's survival. He is by far one of the most tragic characters in the story. We'll see where Pandaemonium takes it, but I can't say I harbour high hopes.

It's such a shame that EW had to effectively kill him off.

I remember our first meeting with him during post-ARR. He was interesting and not outright hostile. Throughout all our interactions with him, he felt very humanized and I really hoped that eventually, we'd be able to let him out of the tower. There was so much more his character could offer the story.

Elidibus. Got written horribly not only in ShB but EW as well. A character built up throughout multiple expansions only to be killed off within a patch, all to make room for another character that was popular. Endwalker made it even worse by not even acknowledging or thanking him and Zodiark for the sacrifice he made and for keeping the planet safe for over 12,000 years. Instead Hydaelyn of all people gets the credit. In the expansion that was labeled the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga ending, both Elidibus and Zodiark were noticeably absent in comparison…

He does nothing apart from cry and moan and give you long winded speeches. I've spent the last 12 months waiting for them to kill him off. :\

There's a lot of characters from (or on) the First I desperately hope they'll feature more in the future, Ryne and Gaia chief among them (for how basic (and unvoiced) Ryne's EW cameo was, they could've snuck Gaia in there too for people who'd completed Eden...) but also Beq Lugg, Cyella/Cylva, Unukalhai (who I was very glad they did something with after all that time) and the rest of the Role/Void Quest crew.
