I scrolled hoping to see this! Riol is the real MVP but so few people even remember him. He's had our backs since ARR and has never let us down and I am always thrilled when he gets a little air time, no matter how brief it is. He deserves a more prominent role and I would love to see him make it into a Trust or Duty Support role. Show Riol some love YoshiP!

If I think of a character no one even remembers but that I LOVED, that was Isse from Stormblood. He was a good representation of some of the things war does to people, and I really liked the way he was portrayed.

Regula. He was elegant and I loved his english voice, Heavensward went a bit trigger happy with deaths, he did not deserve dying from a side quest damn it

Varis zos Galvus.

Not only was he done dirty by the MSQ's, there's a lot of nuance to him that most people will overlook due to it be hidden away in side quests, field notes and one of the lore books.

OMG this. I actually quit FF14 after this happened in the MSQ. So much more to his story and they make his son the star after. Ugh

Yugiri’s voice actor was murdered by her husband. I don’t think SE wants to find another VA for her so she mainly got unvoiced parts until not written in anymore.

She already has a new voice actress since Heavensward, Eleanor Matsuura is her name. The previous voice actress, Sian Blake, was the one who was murdered.
