Characters that you think are underrated (possible spoilers)

Riol for sure

I scrolled hoping to see this! Riol is the real MVP but so few people even remember him. He's had our backs since ARR and has never let us down and I am always thrilled when he gets a little air time, no matter how brief it is. He deserves a more prominent role and I would love to see him make it into a Trust or Duty Support role. Show Riol some love YoshiP!

Nanamo. She went from being this helpless child that was a puppet of the Syndicate and always needing Raubahn to lean on for support to an ever growing resourceful and self sufficient young lady that may very well one day rival even the likes of Lolorito when it comes handling and generating coin that realistic benefits her own countrymen without stepping on the toes of her buisness partners and the Syndicate.

I don't know about underrated, but I think Meffrid got offed a little too quickly into Stormblood. He only made it a couple hours into the expansion before getting unceremoniously killed by Fordola in order to set her up as someone to be taken seriously.

I'm torn on Lyse. On one hand, the writers really did her dirty in SB. So much of the SB MSQ was about losing have having to play catch up, so her losses were always front and center while her victories were mostly off-screen. We're told that Lyse is a good leader but we rarely see it in action. No wonder everyone thinks she's useless.

On the other hand, it's also very easy to argue that's Lyse never needed to exist in the first place. Papalymo's death was designed to set Lyse free to be her own person separate from Yda but that entire plot point went nowhere. To this day I'm not sure why they bothered creating a new character in Lyse rather than just having Yda leave the Scions to join the resistance.

Yugiri’s voice actor was murdered by her husband. I don’t think SE wants to find another VA for her so she mainly got unvoiced parts until not written in anymore.

She already has a new voice actress since Heavensward, Eleanor Matsuura is her name. The previous voice actress, Sian Blake, was the one who was murdered.

Imo all Scions "B" team deserves a lot more screen time, it sucks that only Hoary Boulder got a voice
