    Would rather see Anima Stay, Who knows how much is needed for 2.0's maps, Also.... the game has methods of transportation. Use them, Traveling the world is fairly easy, FFXIV makes nothing free, I too hate running for twenty minutes on end. the camp placement is more then enough for an observant Player to wisely spend anima. I understand a large portion of the player base would love super easy play, quick travel here, mass kill X creature. Such things are prevalent in other MMO's (Everquest II, World of Warcraft, Aion Online) each has there own system, Anima is FFXIV's way. It benefits a game to be different in as many aspects as possible while similar in nature as to be understood by a player. Ride an airship take to the paths via chocobo, or use a tactical Teleport when needed. the game should remain an adventure. and not be a fast forward to farming MMO like so many others have

    Anima= gets to A to B in an instant

    Content= Gets blown down fast because of Anima

    Longevity?= Get rid of anima to a point like get 20 Anima and each tele to where ever is 2 points a tele

    Why people don't use anything else besides Anima?= Because its fast and the most Reliable
    The world is Boring so Anima makes it easier to coup with? Well in 2.0 it could very well not be that way.. I agree keep it "for now" but in 2.0 when areas are more appealing to the eye.. get rid of it and have other modes of Transportation

    In order to keep longevity in content.. SE needs to not make it soo fast to get to said places.. why you think people complain theres 0 content in the game, no matter what SE does? Because of Anima.. if you don't have Anima.. someone else does.. in which case its like having almost unlimited Anima "in a sense". Anima is extremely useful.. that needs to be dumbed down a bit..

    If you don't like it.. don't use it? Kinda hard when the temptation of using it is there.. doesn't mean I do like it...

    Remove Anima & Reset Servers. Sounds good right?

    or make new servers that you cannot transfer to, have no anima? let players who don't want anima reroll?

    i wish we had the old tele system. where it was just a couple craigs with teleport gates and u had to go from there, anima makes airships useless. making tele gates would make the game a little more enjoyable

    anima only makes them useless when you always have alot
    if you want to conserve anima you wioll be using the airships ALOT, as well as chocoboing otherwise you 0 out pretty quickly

    How about just letting us use gil to tele to camps in addition to anima. That way you have yet another gil sink and since everyone can earn gil no matter how casual or hardcore it can be fair. Either that or let it completely restore once per week like conquest did in ffxi or at the very least let it regen faster via inn or like leves do. Since leves got an overhaul it seems only fitting that anima catch on. This wouldn't affect those who "manage" their anima at all and those of us who walk run choco and tele and manage to stay at 0-7 anima all the time would get some much needed relief. It would also ensure that threads like this one can finally go away.

    nah, not gil to teleport, but gil to replenish anima, a steep price of course(i know some people suggested as much as 100k per anima regen)

    I use airships a lot, even if its only to get me to the city to have a 4 anima tele instead of a 6.

    Also I think its funny that people who don't like anima instantly resort to ff11 whm mechanics, something even more easily abused in ff14 with the armory system(unless you put in a cooldown, but that would be real nice switching to a doh to do a repair and then having to wait 15-30 mins for your cooldown.)

    If people were a bit more creative you may start thinking of a plan c. Im willing to bet that not only will 2.0 not have the same teleport system we have now, but it will not be like ff11 either. So instead of thinking you have to pick between the 2 you should be thinking of other ways.
