So this was a sneak patch in 6.15 but there's a new housing job called Karen (KAR) and KARs have to basically patrol every house to gain experience and level up. They don't have any ingame role actions or skills but the current workaround is to go on the forums and make sure to let everyone they're being KARs.

I low key agree, but also this is the neighborhood feel you wanted, right? An instanced system where everyone who wants a house can have one is so soulless compared to rows of undecorated/locked solo FC homes and paissa houses peppered around a ward system that nobody's even using. Best we can do at this point is plan out the initial set of changes and updates. Won't be able to get the contractors in until after the closing. Won't exactly be the epic kitchen I've dreamed of but it's going to be a huge improvement over the one in our first house. I'm really excited about the induction ranges I've been looking at. LED lighting has a come a long way which has opened up several possibilities.

While I was dealing with Housing EX in XIV, thanks to the greed of my landlord we had to clear Housing Savage in Real Life (we've seen enrage but not quite there yet). I did move my crafting main to our FC so she could make stuff but housing crafting skews towards high volume which is a PITA if you're not in the mood. Between inspections, contracts, and mortgages I'm sorta distracted.

I can't speak for others but as for myself, I would decorate the living hell out of my house, were I to get one. It may only be virtual but it would be my home within the game and I would treasure it.
