while i am apprehensive about the lack of a party shown thus far (not sure why they would need clives name in the UI if hes the only party member tho) the game looks solid.
If the older FFs are a loveletter to D&D, I am not opposed to this solo campaign.

IMO I liked the Yagudo of FFXI more than the Ixtal of FFXIV as the "bird" beastmen race. Kinda miss the Quadav too.

Yeah I'm reserving judgment on the no party thing until we have something confirmed one way or the other because the very early looks at XIII and XV after it was rebranded to XV looked like they were solo campaigns, too. It's very possible we still have a party and they're just being coy about it again.
