All of those are clearly better odds than FCFS.

Goblet 19/50 is there waiting right now for the next lottery. And there will be some more from shuffles, server leaves, and bans.

What you are saying is that everyone should be happy with a business model that forces you to accept failing to get the lesser product you didn't want in the first place.

Saying a less than 5% chance to get a basic part of the game "isn't that bad" isn't just being an apologist for SE, it's outright sticking one's head in the sand so they don't have to confront an issue.

Saying "To be fair, it's a medium" also doesn't disprove what we're saying - it proves it. What's wrong with wanting a medium if we can afford it? Are we just supposed to accept Medium and Large plots are an impossibility? That would make them a fallacy - and would make SE's advertising of it false advertising.

As the previous post perfectly put it, we've put in the time, put in the leveling, saved the gil. There's no good reason to not get the plot we want.

Not one detractor here as given a single reasonable explanation why houses are even rare in the first place. Because there isn't one.

Your information source is faulty, the numbers you're claiming aren't even close to the actual numbers.
You should really check the facts for yourself, rather than taking someone else's word for it.

Yes, I htink we agree there. That's a medium as I said, but my point, it's not the only house on Siren at the time. I gave you just 4 of the houses that were under 20 bids each. There were more too over 20 bids, but I didn't think you would be interested in those. Less bids = more chance after all.


Not to you, but in general; It somewhat surprises me that people are jumping up and down about not being able to get from nothing into a medium or large rather than aim for a small, as if they expected lottery to make it any easier to get a medium. Anyone doing housing for the last few years should know that mediums and larges have always been nigh on impossible to obtain because SE simply can't (or won't) meet the demand.

Lottery doesn't improve the number of mediums, just makes it fairer for everyone who wants to jump to that stage.

It's up to SE to see the problem lottery has exposed, and work to fix it.

LOL. "You just have to make a whole new character or transfer, miss the current lottery period because you can't bid on current lotteries if you transfer" She can't "also enter on Siren". This makes no sense.
