Now it's great you haven't had that experience as a Roe yourself, but that has been my experience and that of some of my friends. I'm not saying Zodiark is bad. Nor that Light itself is. It's not a "racist data center" specifically, but I have seen and been a target of slurs and active discrimination. Not just name-calling.

I went on the OF's to try savages, got told off for being a Roegadyn, and got told off for being a furry. And by "told off", I don't mean light jabs or anything, I mean actual malice that led the party leader to kick the person out.

I go on venues and they kick Hrothgars out because "oh we don't want to be associated to zoophilia". (edit): It's not even an ERP venue to my knowledge, it's literally just a bar!! And afaik they also kick out Lalafells because "pedophilia".

It's why I say the community isn't at all as nice as people think it is. Because it sure as hell hasn't been as far as I could see. When I was Miqo'te or Au Ra, didn't see any comment. Nor when I was Highlander for a whole year. But when I was Roegadyn and now Hrothgar, yeah, there's venom being spat and without filter.

Whether this is on Light, or I've just been unlucky, I couldn't tell you. All I can say is what I've experienced.
Sounds more about preferences/fetish/kinks than a race problem.

Reading this has made me lose braincells. You do realize that religion is made up, right? Religion can and has changed many times and if you are deadset on considering everyone who isnt straight an abomination, you literally doing that. You are 'putting your judgement above that of the divine'.

Yes, religion does change which is why in Christianity's case, there are dozens to hundreds of different churches all believing in other things because they can't agree on what is the word of god, the bible considered the act an unnatural one and the bible is the word of the divine which is why we are here in the first place.

Even the Quran says this as its opening statement very merciful follow my path or incur my wrath or become an apostate. If God was merciful and compassionate and this all-loving crap why would he even consider wrath which is a sin proving god isn't infallible and isn't above sin itself. Why is there even a the concept of the day of Judgement very accepting but all of us heathens can burn in the fires of Gahanna or wallow in purgatory or if your Christian live on the first layer of hell with the good pagans?

In the name of God (Allah), the Compassionate and Merciful. (2) Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, (3) the Compassionate and Merciful, (4) Master of the Day of Judgement. (5) Thee we worship and from Thee we seek help. (6) Guide us upon the straight path, (7) the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those who incur wrath, nor of those who are astray.”

Its an English translation though so we shouldn't take it seriously right? Should I not take my native gods practices seriously because its not written in ancient Irish and continue to burn people in Wickerman to feed the forest and crops.

Suppose you have to change the words of the divine itself to keep the religion alive throughout the centuries. Can you say the divine is all-knowing, especially with Christianity, because most of the book is Paul, and he only had visions of Jesus? Indeed, Jesus, in his ultimate form, would know all things and share a timeless truth that all followers could follow.

This is why Science is destroying religion and philosophies written by the ancient Greeks and Romans are being followed more and more. Even Paganism is the fastest-growing religion in the west at this point.

If you cannot keep your way of life and beliefs consistent and every time you want to change a schism occurs how can you ask others to follow it? The Muslims have done a good job keeping their way of life and beliefs consistent but they would throw me off a roof or stone me to death so no thanks but hay I respect them more than Christians who have shown themselves morally corrupt and weak.

The Pauline Epistles (Romans, Corinthians, Timothy, etc.) are basically the only New Testament source that can be said as condemning homosexuality among men. However, speaking of theological arguments, there's plenty of discussions going on on what exactly the original Classical Greek meant. Some scholars say the condemnation was strictly related to male prostitutes, or that it concerned relations between a master and his slave (both males).
However, most all of current Christian denominations accept the Pauline Epistles (only a few small denominations such as the New Church (Swedenborgian) reject Paul).
Churches that openly support and accept the LGBTQ+ community are brave, but if I were them I would abandon the belief system altogether to remain consistent.

Thus they are hypocrites which is also a sin. Not really a point to it now is there if your going to sin and can't agree on anything who cares. Might as well go back to worshipping the gods of old they do more for your culture or become an atheist. For example, what does more the Scandinavian culture in the modern world depictions of Christ or Thor, looks at the spanning modern works that include the god that people enjoy.

That's the thing, on a lot of aspects considered a sin by Christians, you'll find that either they're Old Testament passages that really shouldn't bear any meaning anymore other than complementary side-stories, or they've been made part of church canon by later popes and councils.

Any religion, Christianity included, has the power to change its views based on modern events. And they've shown to use it throughout history. So churches more open to and\or supportive of homosexuality exist, and it's normal that they exist. Because that's part of how a religion grows and stays. You also have priests who are very welcoming of LGBT people, only for their successors to be too conservative and undo that work. Like what happened in the Resurrection Parish of Avondale, Chicago in 2018.

For there to be a consistent belief system, usually the higher ups need to promote changes and lay the groundwork for the future. So it might take some time, since it's clear that the church is divided on the topic, but the fact that you're seeing churches being willing to be more tolerant is a start.

    What he said.

Are straight people persecuted? Are straight people killed, mutilated, imprisoned or tortured for merely liking someone? Do straight people suffer within their own households for being straight? If they don't, then making a giant parade for them is unnecessary and insulting to the people who are killed, mutilated, imprisoned, tortured and ostracised for having a different sexual identity.

Besides, LGBT parades are good for straight people anyway. So many straight people are repressed, can't express their own sexual views and think that being exposed to something as minor as "kinks" will make them weirdos. When Pride Parades happen, some straight people might find something they relate to and explore.

If you are going to play the game you gotta follow the rules, it's not that hard. Besides, I doubt many are so assumptive they know what happens after death. Though it would be funny if a "god" existed. Would it have a sense of humor? Considering we have the concept of irony, it might.

Have you tried not being mockworthy? Nothing is sacred, and everyone can be made fun of for everything, and if you think they can't be, you deserve to be laughed at.

People who can't laugh at themselves are mini tyrants in the making. Try this for a bit maybe you will grow a sense of humour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bScQcM0tzW4
