You guys have made up your mind, that 130 page threads is proof enough of that. Nothing anyone says will change your mind.It has nothing to do with being a Zodiark 'fan boy'. Let's not forget that the only reason Zodiark needed to be called forth in the first place was due to Venat refusing to forewarn her people of the approach of the Final Days. As a consequence, Zodiark needed to be conjured forth in order to ensure that Etheirys persisted - which is what the first and second set of willing sacrifices accomplished.
I've been comparing the EN version to the FR localisation for some time now and there were some other issues which come to mind as well, where points of information are completely dropped out altogether (in yellow) - the three which come to mind are these - there's a few more from EW which I will post if I get some time later on, where you have further context dropped:
(Council in this context is the Convocation)
And...

When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Another peculiar one is this piece, which doesn't sit too well with what we learnt in EW:
The French version is essentially saying Hydaelyn never wished to destroy Zodiark. There is nothing about her faction being opposed to his creation, which would undermine her entire plan (unless she duped them about it, that is.)

But... Isn't that what the rest of the English screenshot says?Another peculiar one is this piece, which doesn't sit too well with what we learnt in EW:

Sundering instead of destroying.
I can't read French.
Maybe translate the French version so we can read the differences. Otherwise we are just going off of interpretation of a screenshot.
What is thancred saying in the French version?
Highlighting a single line out of context isn't exactly the best way to do it.
I think that's quite the bizarre claim!
It's also interesting how it's often the comments shot back at someone being deliberately obtuse and dense that are presented as a step too far but never comments such as this:
Or randomly implying that anyone who dislikes or disapproves of Venat has an issue with women in general, as seen here:
I wonder how you'd feel if Elidibus and Venat switched roles, but everything else was the same. So Elidibus caused the sundering, Venat was the heart of Zodiark.
You seem to be real hung on on Venat being a woman. Like.. You just can't let that one thing go, it comes across are rather crass honestly.Given the dialogue options in the Omega side quests, I wouldn't be so sure of that.![]()
