Disadvantage for male characters

I met a lot of people who play girls just because they get more and more well designed glam. :/
It was the same with Viera. People wanted to play them, but were tiered of it because of the restrictions und broken promises from SE. It's no good argument to say it would be okay because something is played less, when it's played less because the support is not good.
Maybe we see a change now that Viera boys are there and people like them. So more people are somehow complaining about restrictions and less well designed glam for males in general. :')

I don't think that it would be a good idea to adjust all the dresses and skirts for males. It does not look good most of the time. But why they can't make more interesting male glamour? That's the point. Why Alphi and Urianger are wearing only jobglam? Why Ramza got nothing unique, while his less important sister get a unique dress? And so on and so on.

And why the boys get no pants? xD
I like both, long trousers AND pants. But SE only wants to give long trousers to males. We get some of the female lv1 pants now, but that's really not much. For example I would like to wear that pants you can unlock with fashion report in Gold Saucer. When I got them I was so disappointed, when I realized that it's 'no pants' for me.

I know it's not the nicest thing to say. But I think, most of the female char players have no imagination what we are talking about here. They have most of the good stuff and can't feel the struggle on the other side. That's okay at all. But don't try to say, it would be all okay and fair, that male chars are less supported und loved, when it comes to glamour and cosmetics in general. This makes me sad and I don't understand it. :/

Is it only me, or do you guys also feel like, that male characters are a little bit in disadvantage in this game?

In my opionen the female sets often look more well designed. But what I mean today is..., that there is again new glam in the Mogshop and again it is just something new for the girls. Last time they gave us the Ryne set for girls. Now Lyse, and again, if you play a male character, there is nothing for you. Just can make a face like this, when looking in the shop ò.ó

Maybe it's just me. But I feel very often in disadvantage with a male character. How do you feel about this?

The thing I find unfair in this case isn't even the design of their attires. It's that the haircut they released is genderlocked. Just give me the tail, I WILL pay for the entire set for the sake of it.

We have Aymeric attire with male-locked clothers and unisex haircut, what's the problem with Lyse's ponytail, c'mon. :/

At this point we have 2 female-only haircuts with nothing for male characters in return (Minfilia and Lyse), it's just a pain. 3.0 Y'shtola at least had 3.0 Thancred as her counterpart. Don't have the counterpart version? Make the haircut unisex then, deal.

Male characters are making up to 45% of population, it's not like we're some kind of a rare unicorn to just sweep us aside.

99% sure it's due to the models. The character models are a little janky as it is like they took a human and had to mold the body so that they could fit armor on them, and then the armor itself sort of "corrects" the shape of the body. I don't know how else to describe it but seriously, if you go look at an artist model and then take some sculpy, it's kind of interesting.

I barely see anyone use these NPC ouftis a month after they launch. Not saying nobody uses them, just that it's not as often as I would have thought. Y'shtola's Scion Healer Boots were used for a long time until the 2B items came. Occasionally I'll see someone using Ryne's outfit or Omega-F. Usually sprout characters with stuff they still need to farm I reckon. Outside of that, the only things I really see are the hairstyles. Lightings Hairstyle the most used, probably used more than any outfit.

It's sights like that which make me wish for a toggle to turn other PC into default job gear so I don't have to see their horrible fashion sense xD

My own FC leader would fantasia to a female character just because he wanted to enjoy the glams he got.

Because when you're a male character, stuff already tends to look rather bland.

When you're using Roegadyn-type bodies, stuff just gets stretched out. Some jackets go from looking normal to looking like Brunnhilde about to sing Götterdammerung.

TLDR: We look like bloody plus-sized opera singers in half the casting gear. What the actual hell.

Not even, at least opera singers have curves. Roegadyn look like frikin Lego figures in a lot of sets that even Hrothgar can pull off
