Do you have recent data to confirm this? Because the last data set i saw the gap between male to female was not wide at all.

I guess I'll just have to accept that. It's a character piece and I'm of the opinion that those should actually be left alone, aside from the adjustments they make to fit other races. It seems like they feel that way as well, seeking to preserve the integrity of that piece they made. It's not always about the money. It's definitely about the work that would go into adding further customization.
Edit: Changed my mind. **** that.

Um... how is having a smaller wardrobe a disadvantage?
I generally go 'phew' when a cash shop item I have 0 use for or interest in releases. Less money to spend.
One person saying a lot of the nier raid female outfits are designed better, to me it just sounds like you like dresses but also chose to play a male character so you can't wear all those. If limited access to dresses and similar is such a problem maybe play a female character. I like the male variants, a lot of the male variant of outfit females would also like. But I won't swap gender to play em.
Also comparing the quality of SB era outfits to ShB, ofc the later ones look of a higher quality with less visible pixels.
Others have pointed out there are plenty male outfits on the cash shop, getting 2 female in a row doesn't really matter. If we had 5-10 female only release in a row sure.. but even then it's a cash shop item not an in game item, idk why people would be clamouring for something they need to pay MORE for. It's an extra. Not to mention those outfits have the least customisation. I won't be buying the lyse outfit since it is a one piece and also undyeable, not buying it simply for another hairstyle I know I won't use.

Not enough realy short shorts, the girls get all the good short shorts...
'Disadvantage' in what, costume contests? Women get all the clothes, same as in real life. But hey, you're playing a woman, so you can deal that way.Is it only me, or do you guys also feel like, that male characters are a little bit in disadvantage in this game?
In my opionen the female sets often look more well designed. But what I mean today is..., that there is again new glam in the Mogshop and again it is just something new for the girls. Last time they gave us the Ryne set for girls. Now Lyse, and again, if you play a male character, there is nothing for you. Just can make a face like this, when looking in the shop ò.ó
xD
Maybe it's just me. But I feel very often in disadvantage with a male character. How do you feel about this?

Snow's outfit seems fairly well used, or certainly was for a while. Possibly falling out of fashion now. And I've come across people using the other outfits occasionally.
And to be fair, I don't see anyone cosplaying the female characters on a daily basis either. They're more common to see than the male character outfits, but not to the point that it seems repetitive.
Personally I have outfits set up with Gosetsu's pants and (separately!) Cid's goggles. And though I'd bought it primarily for the goggles, I actually used Cid's outfit as an AST glamour for a while, and really liked how it looked on my character (though being able to mix and match it would be better). There are other pieces I would potentially use if I had an outfit in mind to use them with.

It's always such a bummer to me whenever they add new gear where the female version of pants is something... let's call it "unique"? while male characters just end up with boring full length pants for the billionth time...
Glamour without restrictions* is long overdue!
If you think so too, help keep the thread going!

You're not wrong. Although it would be nice to have both options available to either character genders, no? Anecdotally, I've known a few female friends of mine who wishes they're not shoved with miniskirts because they wanted pants. I too had some moments I wish I can put on those skirts/dresses instead of being shoven a full tablecloth wrap/boring full length pants. The recently unlocked glamour pieces like Boulevardiers, Frontiers, & Rathalos are a positive QoLs for me.One person saying a lot of the nier raid female outfits are designed better, to me it just sounds like you like dresses but also chose to play a male character so you can't wear all those. But then again...
Exactly my thought. But I won't swap gender to play em.

Last I checked using the Lucky Bancho figures (believe it's January ones), after the addition of male Viera, it's around 55/45 (f/m), and this was an increase over some months prior, where it had gone 58/42 (following the WoW "exodus"), in turn an increase over Feb 2021, where it was something like 61/39 - with figures generally skewing more towards male chars excl Japan. There's a majority of females but it's not so great as to justify ignoring what is now over 2/5ths of the playerbase, tbh, or giving them less favourable treatment; you can just end up creating a self-fulfilling prophecy that way, anyway, and the gap really isn't that big.
