Astro is literally a combination of Time Mage and Gambler for it's influence. Time Dilation, Celestial Opposition, Earthly Star, Horoscope, Macrocosmos, Exaltation, and even it's original set of cards included one to hasten the GCD and one to reduce the Cooldown of abilities. Unfortunately, the Devs think healers need to be simple and have stripped so many time related abilities away from Astro it's hard for most people to tell it's a core concept to the class. Most of the animations for Astro include globes, clocks, and it even applies Haste to itself with The new seal spender.

I would love to see a new healer based on the Mathematician from Tactics that used abilities to invert people's health, divide huge spikes of damage into weaker dots, and did all manor of nifty tricks but Healer Gameplay in Endwalker is more stale than it has ever been. We are healing less on average, and in terribly unimaginative ways. I think it would be better to revisit the existing 4 healers and make them feel truly unique and engaging in their own way before hoping that a new healer will come along with cool tricks leaving the other 4 as poorly veiled copies and problematic.
