Males dont even have good beard options in game. Look how long it took us to get the stubble from the WoL shadowbringers and its still only available on that one face option.

I don't know what you all are talking about. *rips shirt off*
Between the shirtless ones, the animals, those now wearing women's clothing, and people that clearly don't care, I hardly see any room for claims of a disadvantage.
I think its a disadvantage wearing those glamours. You end up looking boring and like everyone else because you can't dye it.
I guess the coming week a million name variatons of Lyse Hext pop up![]()
People will trip over each other to tell you that its actually fair that guys get less effort.
There are 50 male options and 53 female options on the Mogstation currently, via filtering based on "men's" and "women's" for all items.
So 3 in favor of female to male.
But, if you look at sets from the rest of the series added to the game, it heavily favors male characters over female. All of the veteran reward items were from male characters, and every female outfit added has a male counterpart. We have every characters outfit from 12, for example, except Ashe. We have Noctis but no Luna or Aranea, Squall, but no Rinoa, Cloud but no Tifa.
There are still objectively more female sets and more better designed sets for females on the mogstation than males. This is a known problem for awhile now that female players are pandered much more than males. Doesnt surprise me though to see so many female players sayi ng "i dont see a problem," or " its not that bad!"There are 50 male options and 53 female options on the Mogstation currently, via filtering based on "men's" and "women's" for all items.

And once again, you are ignoring the other half. There are still objectively more female sets and more better designed sets for females on the mogstation than males. You accuse me of that a lot, but you do it too lol.
And better looking is subjective. Most of the female outfits look terrible. But that's just my opinion.

Tbh, I feel like feminine fashion is significantly more appealing than the other.
And I think most men are kinda opposed to anything that's not super generic and standard, clothing and fashion isn't exactly something the average guy cares or thinks about.
Look at clothing for men irl and then compare it to womens clothing.
It's a complete joke, it's not even a contest.
The amount of variety is just overwhelmingly in favor of womens clothing.
Now I typically hate arguments about '' practicality '' and often times it's either totally overblown or people are just wrong ( could go on about this with armor and how a blog post can spread so much bs misinformation people still believe ).
But feminine fashion tends to be okay with making some sacrifices there for the sake of style.
Something looking good and appealing and something being practical aren't the same thing.
And I think you'd have a hard time convincing a guy of making even a small sacrifice there when it comes to clothing, closest I can think of are suits.
And this affects how stuff is designed in games too, usually imo male characters just have incredibly bland costumes/ gear.
Not saying you can't do good designs for male characters obviously, but I think it actually might be a bit easier to design something that will have wider appeal for women.
You just have more types of stuff to play around with.
Male characters have been getting access to more and more of the female only glams. Much to my dismay at having to see them actually wearing it, catbois in maid outfits and dresses looks so freakin ugly imo. But even if I think it looks stupid and hideous xD better to give people the option to dress how they want.
There are plenty male only glams I would love access too as a female. I don't think males are at a disadvantage at all, they have benefitted the most from glams being made available to both genders.
