A lot of the time we get nicer things, and far fewer Metal bikinis too. So I think your basic premise is incorrect OP.

If we count it's about...
Aymeric, Cid, Papalymo, Urianger, Thancred, Snow, Alphinaud(m/w), Omega M, Tidus, Hidabrand, Hien: 11 sets for males
Minfilia, Minfilia 2, Lyse, Omega F, Ryne, Alphinaud (m/w), Y'shtola 1, Y'shtola 2, Y'shtola 3, Krile, Alma, Yuna, Blackbosom, Yda, Scion Liberator's Set, Lighting Set: 16 sets for females.
But I am not sure if I forgot something. I also did not want to start counting. It's just, that it's again the same thing for me. New items in the shop. And again just stuff for females characters. It's always disappointing for me. I would wish that they make items for female 'and' male characters, when they add new things in the shop.

Well, statistically speaking the majority of the playerbase are female characters... so from a business standpoint there is nothing wrong with having 5 extra female sets.If we count it's about...

Also i think one of the problem is there are more request for female outfit than for male outfit from NPC, at least when its comes to the online store

Maybe because they make less nice looking male sets in general. For example Alma und Ramza. He did not get 'his own set'. His cloth is stuff that was already in the game. For Alma they made this cute darkgreen dress. Of course people wanted this. : )

When you speak purely about outfits, yeah. I guess I just didn't look hard enough... but a couple weeks ago when I was a male Miqo'te for a bit, none of the things I had stored in the dresser worked very well. Not to mention the fact that you can't swap out Mogstation items for their gender parallel as you can do for seasonal items. I probably didn't farm enough... but most of the things in my Dresser are level 1 glamour items and Job sets. It feels different from female where many items look quite nice and I can consider grabbing them with a Greed roll.Is it only me, or do you guys also feel like, that male characters are a little bit in disadvantage in this game?
In my opionen the female sets often look more well designed. But what I mean today is..., that there is again new glam in the Mogshop and again it is just something new for the girls. Last time they gave us the Ryne set for girls. Now Lyse, and again, if you play a male character, there is nothing for you. Just can make a face like this, when looking in the shop ò.ó
xD
Maybe it's just me. But I feel very often in disadvantage with a male character. How do you feel about this?
Don't get me started on the healer sets.
Mortal Fist
I think it's a bit wrong to call it a disadvantage. Call it unfair if you want but it's not exactly making your gameplay any worse off than ours.

So if we just look at the sets that are really just for one gender, we have 9 sets for males and 14 sets for females. I am afraid this could be some kind of proof for disadvantage. :/
You play a female, right? Maybe it's hard to understand for you. Before I played a Viera, for example, I could never really understand how big the issue with the helmets really is.
I just wish that SE would be more fair. They should add items for both genders. That's all. : )
