Do ARR races need an update?

Dunno if its just me or if they really are showing their age, But i feel like they could use a bit of tweaking to bring them up too the times.

I have always played Miq'ote but recently spent some time as an Au'ra.
She felt nice to play and look at, her animations were a lot smoother and it felt like she had a personality, even her face felt more 'normal' than what i have experienced.

But as a cat lover at heart the time came to return back to what i know and love, even in the character edit stage... something felt.... missing.

Is it just me? Or are the old races in desperate need of TLC SE will never give them?

For sure, yes. I do wish Roegadyn have a better animation like Hrothgar, probably have to wait till 7.0 tho

I think they plan a major graphic overhaul to character model in the next expack.

There's a few things that do come to mind, the lack of movement with female Miqo'te ears unlike the males, Au ra horns being linked to faces, and the lack of any form of muscle sliders on Midlanders, Elezen, and Au ra's. While yes I am aware that stuff like tails and ears count as their equivalents in the code, they should be able to do something given how often the devs have said they can't via spaghetti code but end up doing it anyway.
As for animations, there really isn't much I would like to see change other then arcanists unsheathed running animation. I do not like that one at all, it looks cumbersome, and nobody would ever run with a book in hand like that.

Im not sure, my Miqo'te is pretty expressive. I think it may have to do with the face choice, eyebrows, ect.

Yes, the Elezen and Hyur especially need a major update. Maybe also add additional options for the others.
