I read the merger notes again today, and idk if it was in there before but it has this thread's problem covered in it, in english, in a very accessible and obvious place, so ya!

OP is lying, I just tryed to do the SAME thing as he/she did and if the world os full it "DOES NOT" Bring you to a a different world:
Before...
After...
Made sure I did it to my Mule in case something happened... what a joke :/....
Yeah, this. You know what the saddest part of all is? Because of that one guy who started all of this, these "OMG I'm transferring away from all of my friends, WTF, SE?!?!?" kept sprouting up. Because according to the OP later in that same thread, SE contacted the guy to try and help.
See what happens when SE does try to help? The floodgates of derp burst open and destroy everything
They consistently underestimate people's ability to screw up.A bit off-topic:
Remember way back in the day when SE released a patch for FFXI (I believe it was during ToAU), and many people who tried to install it received a 'your game is corrupt, please reinstall' error? Then, when you went to uninstall and reinstall, it was not clear that you MUST uninstall the expansions first... So, many people uninstalled their MAIN game first. When you did this, it gave you the normal 'caution: some programs may not work properly when this is uninstalled' warning. Then, it proceeded to wipe files necessary to your OS. Hundreds of people wiped their HDD's as a result. The very next day, they released a patch that fixed this problem; no longer would uninstalling your main game first destroy your OS.
Moral of the story: SE makes some GREAT games, but they're not the best at making other types of software. More than likely, they hired some outside company to make the online 'survey-style' application process, and that company did not necessarily understand the mechanics of what they were doing. Or, SE did it from within and they really are that bad at error-checking.
This is what happens when you CHOOSE Ragnarok:
If you WANT to move there, then you hit the "CONFIRM" button, but selecting the SAME world.. WON'T move you to a DIFFERENT world... We have been trolled... :/
/airquotes Evidence is everything in the court of law! /airuotes
Feel free to pile up with the forum a-holes and call me an idiot for not reading the instructions properly, that's fine and expected. But don't make crap up and try to call me a liar. I selected Durandal, and was defaulted to Ragnarok. Period.
Make Crap up.. I have pictures for proof and did EVERYTHING LIKE YOU DID.. and Nothing happened to me.. I'm sorry but this is utter bull**** >.>
Edit: I also put my Mule on the line (which had alot of stuff on it by the way) to shed some light on this predicament :/

should make a video :P lol really.
I also experiment with a character I don't use any more. The OP made a mistake. Shouldn't blame/demand for help; Blame thy self, then please use the damn support centre, not the forum.
You need help here the link for that -> http://support.eu.square-enix.com/main.php?id=903&la=2
