A bit off-topic:

Remember way back in the day when SE released a patch for FFXI (I believe it was during ToAU), and many people who tried to install it received a 'your game is corrupt, please reinstall' error? Then, when you went to uninstall and reinstall, it was not clear that you MUST uninstall the expansions first... So, many people uninstalled their MAIN game first. When you did this, it gave you the normal 'caution: some programs may not work properly when this is uninstalled' warning. Then, it proceeded to wipe files necessary to your OS. Hundreds of people wiped their HDD's as a result. The very next day, they released a patch that fixed this problem; no longer would uninstalling your main game first destroy your OS.

Moral of the story: SE makes some GREAT games, but they're not the best at making other types of software. More than likely, they hired some outside company to make the online 'survey-style' application process, and that company did not necessarily understand the mechanics of what they were doing. Or, SE did it from within and they really are that bad at error-checking.
