    Use the opportunity to get the Steam version. Makes it way easier in situations like that.

    As for redownloading it, remember that the game is free to a certain level, so the download should be free and then you just need to log in.

    Not a fan of using Steam to play the game, if I'm honest. It keeps Steam running int he background and I want my computer to be playing the game and running discord not doing other things. I appreciate your suggestion, however. Thank you for the idea. I am just not going to use Steam for Final Fantasy XIV. Call me stubborn and you'd be correct.
