Of the groups I've been qued into it's always -5 players and they just abandon as soon as they see the low number of teammates.

Or maybe they leave because you don't use any actions.

I see full parties for Delubrum pretty often on reset day. The Gold Coin grind itself is a weekly and some people are actively glam farming, so you'll most likely find a party then or see a few people in PF looking to guarantee a full run. Just make sure you at least have some essences/lost actions with you to help with the process. I'm sure you haven plenty since you've already made it this far.

Not sure if I'm going insane, but didn't you literally have to sign a waiver upon first entering BSF that states, in terms that I'm somewhat paraphrasing but are nonetheless 100% clear, "I HEREBY AGREE THAT I FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT THIS CONTENT AND EVERYTHING FOLLOWING IT WORKS DIFFERENTLY TO THE REST OF THE GAME"?
And then in literally the first quest in BSF, you have to go and pick up a lost action fragment and then use the lost action it gives you?

To be fair, if I were designing it I'd have an NPC available, probably in the main encampment of both Bozja zones positioned so you can't leave the camp without seeing them. The NPC would be called something like "Resistance Secretariat" to match the theme of the area and would have a big, special icon over their head... like a Book with a "!" to catch people's attentions. Then, I'd throw a bunch of active help topics in there explaining all of the systems in Bozja and the changes between normal content and Bozja content.

That's what I would do at least. If they had something like that in the game then you're right, there would be no excuse for not understanding or learning those systems.

People keep saying use Lost Actions. I have never used a single lost action becuase the entirety of Bozja has never onced required me to or gone over how in the hell they actually work in a clear and concise way, there's a hundred billion of them, the vast majority of them are useless or are job-locked, and I can clear CE's without any issue. Even doing the first raid without them was a joke.

1. I felt like using Lost Actions just going through Southern Front TBH. And oh, especially the Essences. I loved being tanky as a healer and being able to recover just fine from mechanics I missed on Critical Engagements. Took me a bit to get good at those.

2. It's a bit annoying to go through them all, but just take a bit and choose the options you want and stick to them. I wouldn't say they're useless, just gotta dig a little and understand them.

3. CEs aren't anywhere close to the zone-end raids. Delubrum Reginae is the end of the entire story, it's only fair that it'd be difficult.

4. You get pretty lengthy explanations on what the Lost Finds cache and the Appraiser are for, no? Can't remember.

But now ALL OF A SUDDEN, 10000 quests into this obscenely bloated questline, I am being suggested to use them? Better idea, I just won't bother continuing this questline, a decision I already consigned myself to.

Had you asked for tips on Bozja content at any point in time, you'd have been recommended Lost Actions. Technically you did get carried without using any of them, especially no Essences. It's easy to just go through the motions without knowing how much you're even contributing in a storm of dozens of people. OFC it's gonna become clear where you really stand when there's no hordes of fellows to actually pick up the slack.

It sounds cruel, but I really mean it. It's just how Bozja works.

:O Are you saying that people get attracted to reading combative OPs who refuse to listen vs people who get frustrated and upset that said OP refuses to budge on any stance, I mean what's the point on making a thread when you're already so set on your opinions tbh?

Not new to the XIV community at all, that's just how internet forums work lol. And if you're like me, you have seen this particular OP be just as combative, unlistening, and argumentative despite actual advice being given to them time and time again in other threads. Instead they blame it on the game and other people, so shocker that people will dunk on that rather mercilessly. People tend to be more sympathetic when you can look at your own faults.

I wonder what the point of you posting this is other than wanting to feel like you're better than others. :^)

If they were unlocks instead people would have less excuse not to use them.
