Maybe you should do the same. Pepe is just a meme made from 9gag that they portrayed as an alt-right thing just so people would be offended at low rez frog character. It is the same as when they baited the media into thinking that drinking milk was a racist act. They just bait people who get offended easily, they don't care about the politic behind it. It seems horrible to me that there are still countries in the world where being LGBTQ+ is not accepted at all, yet here you are complaining about a frog jpeg that could somehow hurt someone feeling. You just cause more harm than solution for the cause you pretend to defend.

Pepe's creator is on record as being appalled at his creation being used as a hate symbol and has sued groups that have used it that way, such as The Daily Stormer website. So you acting like people are getting offended over nothing in regards to it is disingenuous. I'm well aware that the character was not made to be controversial at all and never said that it was created by the alt-right, just that it's become connected with them because they appropriated it for their own uses. It also might not always be immediately obvious whether someone who uses it is doing so innocently or because they have harmful beliefs, so I don't really blame anyone who decries it in general.
