I haven't ran into a single cheater yet. At least none blatantly obvious. If someone's using a addon no ones really ever going to notice that either.

This! You cannot really see if there are cheaters unless you record each game and carefully watch each player. If there are players who have those lightning reflexes and use one skill after another. I strongly believe there are cheaters everywhere and with some jobs being too OP, CC right now does not feel right. It's a good mode but needs adjustments.

Kinda hard to have tactics when you can't chat in-game. You ever wonder where that toxicity goes if you ban it from the game? Now you know, SE deserves this, they need to learn that when people get tilted you can't just delete their anger, they need a place to vent.

It also doesn't help that lots of classes are very imbalanced and many things don't even work properly like purify. This will calm down once they start to fix the issues. Hopefully they return chat to PvP so we can strategize instead of pinging uselessly.

You can have tactics without normal chat. High skill players do not need people to tell them what to do, they already know the basics and how classes interact and will perform on their own. Any communication that is needed, quickchat is capable of handling (such as PLD telling the MNK they are safe to dive in immediately because they will use Guardian, etc.) Things like who to target, who to focus, when to push the crystal and when to back off, when you should stack up and when you should split up, that's all something that everyone can do independently if they have enough experience and skill.

Purify works properly. You can test this yourself in duels. But it only protects from things that Purify can dispel. It will not protect you from Hysteria, Charmed, Imp, or some other effects which cannot be cleansed with Purify, nor does it advertise it will. Yes, due to server tickrate you can get hit with a CC between the time Purify cleanses the effect and the buff activates. You can learn to get better at timing your Purify but it will never be 100%. It's something you have to get used to, there's literally nothing Square-Enix can do aside from get better servers.

There are currently no classes that are overpowered. Some are stronger than others and further tuning can be useful, but there are no overpowered classes and no underpowered classes. Anyone telling you otherwise is a low skill player, straight up. Remember that rank and tier aren't really tied to player skill.

You can learn to get better at timing your Purify but it will never be 100%. It's something you have to get used to, there's literally nothing Square-Enix can do aside from get better servers.

If they can have Primal Rend and WHM laser cast stun on input they can fix purify. Simply have the buff go off regardless of cleansing a status ailment so you can prep or plan for CC which will enable more varieties of skilled play.

There's no excuse or reason to "deal with" purify how it currently is, which is practically meaningless in a mode full of CC.

Your options currently are

1. Wait after getting bludgeoned with cc so you can hope that you're not destroyed by the dps coming in before you can pop purify at a time where you MIGHT not get hit with any more CC.
2. Watch as you die anyways because it seems to not work on silence (unless I'm mistaken) and rarely tags intime to be meaningful.

Even if it worked properly half the classes can immediately stun you again so purify is legit a terrible skill at the moment. It gives CC all the power and leaves classes like SGE/SCH/GNB/etc with no cc abilities in the dust because they have little/no means to secure a kill/escape while some classes have a ton.

Yes some classes aren't "overpowered" but they definitely have more tools available to them and I'd rather have a whole toolkit than a power drill.

I'm sure there are cheaters, but I doubt its all the widespread. At most there's probably some script andy's using things like auto using ninja LB at 50% hp, but I haven't ran into any kind of speed hackers or anything.

I have about 1k games in ranked CC alone, and have only caught one actual cheater seen here: https://www.twitch.tv/nolabell/clip/...e=7d&sort=time who still remain on the leaderboard at rank 22.

I can say there is a lot of jank in the game mode that can be very easily seen as cheating. I have been streaming if not for the ability to look back at some fishy business only to find out it was just game jank.

Purify that operates without needing to cleanse a buff is called Guard. We already have what you're asking for, lol.

If they made purify a break out from any CC, and immune to 5 seconds or 8 seconds from all CC then it would be good. Right now, with the amount of cheaters, it does feel like purify does nothing. Ninjas are out of control, I've seen players use no MP for heals, Ninjas just stealth when ever they want (no cd on stealth), players go under the map or in walls to full heal/mp, etc. The most annoying is the CC on LB, The work around on the auto guard vs cheaters is kinda easy. If you have a a dragoon, let him LB and the WHOLE team will auto guard even if they are not in range. He can be across the map and a bot will auto guard. I should've recorded the game last night but thought squeenix would've banned these cheaters. Instead it seems the more people talk bout it and go down that rabbit hole the more cheaters come up knowing no action will be taken.

The Discord channel for the cheaters is disgusting (I've seen multiple videos and pictures on reddit) The cheaters act like they aren't doing anything wrong and blame the legit community for complaining because they feel like there is nothing wrong for paying $40-75+ for some cheating script that auto plays their character. I am almost crystal and if I was to take the time out of my day to make a video on all the cheaters I have seen, I would be busy for a few days making reports and not trying to push. It is insane how many people need to cheat/wintrade.

That's weird. I've been Crystal for weeks now, on the same DC, and I'm at a little under 300 wins? I haven't seen a single cheater. Not once. You sure you're not just mistaking things you don't understand for things that are "cheating"?
