Whats there to be sad about?
I'm enamoured with the parasocial andy replies. I'll be honest, I didn't even read the thread when I commented so I didn't even know that Pyromancer had a moment on his stream. All that does is add to the entertainment.
The fact you advocated for witch-hunting against people who haven’t done anything to deserve it tells me all I need to know about you tbh.![]()
You mean besides breaking the ToS openly and publically.
And then immediately stopped doing so when there was a chance they could face account action or repercussions.
The fact that it comes from troll brigades only adds to the entertainment of it all.
Third Party program use modifying game files. Most notably, the speech bubbles. Which iirc, is most notable in his video/stream where his FC did that play re-enacment or any of his FC costume contests, or any content where he types in-game and you see the chat bubbles come up. If thats the type of example you are looking for. I mean, in the example I just gave you someone had to come in and change some settings because his plugin wasn't working correctly for him to see chat bubbles in first person.
But, I need you to understand this because I think, you think, that I actually care.
I don't.
I just find it funny watching the same people who get mad at things like botting, or the PvP cheaters using map hacks, rush to defend <insert streamer> for the exact same ToS violation that those would fall under. All while demanding some level of protection and privelige for streamers. Even though the devs have said multiple times to please stop doing these things, using certain mods/plugins(hello nude poster thread from yesterday as an example) and etc. etc. blah, blah, I don't care.
Its hypocritical and hilarious.
The added boot that a number of you got so toxic and salty over streamers that you resorted to insults.
Whats that new forum meme:
Great Community, btw!

Speech bubbles. Wow. How awful. Alright. I’ll concede on that point no matter how minor.
Tbh. I think you’re just an awful person and someone was right. You kinda suck.
Thankfully you don’t care about my opinion - so do as you please.

While I would not want Preach to get banned as I like him and his fc very much, speach bubbles are just as rule breaking as any other addon.

heres the thing, i dont know much about pyromancer outside of a 15 sec clip
but im not stupid enough to think going "i hope the person i dislike gets banned for any reason" is caring about tos
brigading and mass reporting isnt going to keep "the bad people" out, its going to give this game a bad name and make other mmo communities think we're crazy
reporting pyro for having shinier buttons to press and having (afaik) anger issues is not the win you think its going to be.
I know its not a super cuddly feeling, but when you alientate players in WoW the way he did you at least have to understand as a streamer that its going to make people not like you. Which I am more than sure he does and I can guaruntee he does not care at all that I hope he gets banned or that I don't like him. And no, it has nothing to do with ToS. Whats the Title of the Thread again? Did you even read the OPs post?heres the thing, i dont know much about pyromancer outside of a 15 sec clip

The forums don't need to be sudden death serious all the time.
So why do you?
To Both of you, and a few others:
I never said I would report him. I said I was fine with the the Witch Hunts, and that I hoped they went after all streamers and named directly a relatively large streamer. Who also comes from WoW.
And just so its clear, I am absolutely enjoying watching these forums burn right now because of literally nothing that affects anyone but streamers. And people who cheat.
(Even though the nothing comes from a 5ch harassment brigade against a streamer that they managed to get banned, after harassing that streamer for months.)
