I am not reaching I just don't want to get banned for something monumentally stupid. It is a program allowing to be seen as connecting to the servers from a different country. It minimizes your ping and could be considered third party. I am not saying these things to be sarcastic. I legitimately want to know. Some games do not take lightly to vpn's because you can hide your ip and your connection is taking different routes.

I really wish they would, imagine people having to play on a DC that's close to them, instead of using a VPN that's outside their area? I bet they'de experience less server issues, and lower ping too.

I live in the US my ping is 256 without a vpn because they could not be bothered to put servers anywhere other than California. I might get a better connection around 200 ping to germany maybe but it is still far. I am on the east coast. I literally can't be closer to any server.

You will not get banned for using a VPN, you are not circumventing region locks.

Thank you. I only know that the launcher has a fit if I have the vpn on when attempting to log in after a patch if I forgot to turn it off after downloading it. I am hoping that when you first log in it records your actual ip so it knows who you are and than treats the vpn as just another connection and just ignores it...well sort of. I had a ton of issues with the launcher just spazzing out and telling me my password was wrong but after using the two factor it stopped thankfully.

That's not because of the VPN, that's a security measure because your IP was changing. That's why security token stops it from happening

I live in Maine.

I have around 114ish ping, no VPN or PING reducing helpers, so I don't see how yours would be that much worse than mine. Unless your part of the US, has horrid internet and other things causing interference.
