Here's one for you:

The act of parsing should be permitted due to the nature of encounters having a hard enrage. It gives people an objective and numerical output so they can measure their performance with this, and it gives players who wish to improve a chance to do so.

No, Stone Sky Sea is not an acceptable form due to the nature of it essentially being DPS in a vacuum. Now whether people are ultimately responsible when handling these statistics is an entirely different matter, but I personally don't see an issue unless people use it extensively to harass.

Maybe if high ping on some job weren't a smoldering trash fire. Maybe if if the hud gave the player better and more information. Maybe if you could pull your camera back further. Then you might see a decrease in 3rd party apps making up for what SE doesn't provide.

They're claiming to at least look at some of the more popular mods used to give extra information to see if they can build them into the base game.

If they do start cracking down on addons then RIP the party finder. I've seen how people play on reclears after an update breaks their addons and it's not pretty.

Nothing will change unless they start mass-banning people. If people can post video of themselves breaking the rules and not get punished, then that is a much louder statement from SE that those rules don't actually exist.

Yes, SE. Please ban half your players, and don't improve the game. Surely the right answer for the use of mods is this. And don't ask yourself why so many people insist on installing this type of program, even though it's illegal. Don't loose time with this tipe of questions.

I highly doubt they'll start mass banning people for using just any mod... "Oh you want chat bubbles for players? Banned!"

Many people in mmorpg raids that rely on addons telling them what to do and holding their hand result in this, hence why addons that show timings and give instructions/announcing mechanics should be instantly banned.

If you cant be aware of what is going on during an encounter and need an addon to tell you then you are playing with training wheels.
