What would bard do to make Monk more viable in Ifrit? I've already beat ifrit hundreds of times. Still you can't auto attack with sear unless you run in and out after each sear which is stupid. Once you go in for a weaponskill you get hit no matter what. No1 wants their class to be gimp in fights.
WAH WAH let's ignore every other content because suddenly classs isn't balance because of one content?
Not all jobs are suppose to be great in every fight. If you're really a FFXI vet you would know this by now. Final Fantasy is the only game that keeps its true nature when it comes to weapons vs enemies and I very much like that. Also by the time PUP came out DRG was "fixed" and if PUP was gimped then why we're they the best melee class to solo?
If all jobs did the same amount of damage or were great in every single fight than there really wouldn't be a reason to level another job in the same category of DPS or Tank.
The same could be said that maybe you just don't know how to play your class. Monk hasn't even been out for a week so I really doubt you have perfected it.
Being great is different from being viable... i said i don't want perfect balance but being at least viable SHOULD be the standard.
Stoneskin+Regen makes sears a Joke for Monk. Monk is a very strong dps on every fight if you know how to play. If you can't kill Ifrit in 6-8mins with jobs now then its not the jobs problem its the playersWhat would bard do to make Monk more viable in Ifrit? I've already beat ifrit hundreds of times. Still you can't auto attack with sear unless you run in and out after each sear which is stupid. Once you go in for a weaponskill you get hit no matter what. No it doesn't 200 hp regen doesn't make up for his 500 dmg sears + his other knockback aoe
