You can have the viera hairstyles when viera can wear headgear and can use the mogstation and unlocked hairstyles.
Till then let us have at least something unique as a race.

Lowkey want the spiky male Au Ra hair with the ponytail in the back.
Are you a programmer?when we as the one that make it so THE DEVS EBEN HAVE A JOB AND GEY PAYED
It doesn't involve just programming, and this is literally the least of the programmer's worries. The system is already there anyway, it doesn't take the programmer any more effort to add new objects. The 3D modelling team is the one you guys want to talk to.
Source: I myself am not a programmer, though I AM trying to get into a game dev course after finishing my Master's in a different area. I DO have acquaintances in the course I want to enroll in which have already voiced their opinions of such views in private, one of them being very specifically what's doable or not doable by either one department. Especially the programming\3D departments.
It doesn't mean they're not paid to do this either. Which they are. It's just a whole 'nother issue. They are also subject to the company's orders, so they can't up and do stuff on their own (except for that one time the dev team ALLEGEDLY worked behind Yoshida's back to give Viera and Hrothgar minor headgear items). They're also subject to company policies. But while it's not up to them, it IS up to Square Enix to make this decision, so it's less a critique toward their programmers and more the orders they should be getting.
Meanwhile for the people who want stuff like Au Ra hair and all that... you guys do know some shared hairstyles had to be adjusted from Miqo'te to, say, Roegadyn on account of human\non-human ears, yes? You guys want the tweaking or are you okay with clipping? And on that note, how do you feel about Hrothgar asking for the exact same thing, being okay with either one, yet being told a flat "no"? You think it's going to go any different for you all? Because if it does, first of all congratulations to all of you, and secondly it proves a massive double-standard.
